Basic Clean
Living Areas:
Dust: Furniture (tops, sides, and backs), shelves, electronics, light fixtures, blinds, ceiling fans.
Vacuum: Carpets, rugs (including underneath furniture if accessible), upholstery.
Mop: Floors (choose the appropriate mop and cleaning solution for your floor type).
Wipe down: Coffee tables, end tables, TV stands, entertainment centers.
Empty and clean: Wastebaskets, ashtrays, tissue boxes (replace liners).
Straighten and arrange: Pillows, throws, blankets.
Kitchen:
Dust: Appliance exteriors (refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, etc.), countertops, backsplash, cabinets (tops and fronts).
Wipe down: Countertops, stovetop (including knobs and dials), backsplash, cabinet fronts, sink (faucets included).
Clean: Dishes (wash, dry, and put away), microwave interior (remove spills and splatters).
Empty and clean: Trash can (replace liner).
Sweep or mop: Floor.
Bathrooms:
Sanitize: Toilet seat, sink (faucets included), bathtub/shower surfaces (including walls, floor, and fixtures).
Wipe down: Mirrors, countertops, cabinets (tops and fronts).
Empty and clean: Trash can (replace liner).
Clean and replace: Bath mats, towels, hand towels.
Bedrooms:
Make beds: Change sheets and pillowcases if necessary.

Deep Cleaning
Deep Cleaning (In addition to Basic Cleaning)
Throughout the Home:
Wash windows: Clean the glass, frames, and sills for a sparkling view.
Clean baseboards: These areas tend to trap dust and grime.
Clean ceiling fans: Remove dust from the blades and surrounding areas.
Dust air vents: Improve air circulation and remove built-up dust.
Wash light switch covers and doorknobs: These frequently touched surfaces harbor germs.
Kitchen (Optional - Deep Clean):
Deep clean oven (+$40-$60): This typically involves removing grime, baked-on grease, and tough stains from the interior. Some tasks may include disassembling oven racks and cleaning the glass door.
Deep clean refrigerator (+$40-$60): This includes cleaning shelves, drawers, and compartments, along with disinfecting surfaces to prevent foodborne illness. This may involve removing and cleaning crisper drawers and condiment holders.
Bathrooms (Optional - Deep Clean):
Clean showerheads and faucets: Remove mineral buildup and hard water stains for optimal performance.
Scrub grout and tile: Remove mold, mildew, and grime from these areas.
Clean shower doors: Remove soap scum and hard water stains.
Please note: Deep cleaning the oven and refrigerator are often considered optional add-on services and may incur an additional cost of $40-$60 each.
Move In/Out
Move-In Cleaning
General:
Focus on sanitization: Since you don't know the cleaning habits of the previous tenants, prioritize disinfecting surfaces throughout the home to ensure a fresh and hygienic start.
Empty and clean cabinets and drawers: Wipe down shelves and drawers in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. Remove any lingering dust or debris.
Clean light fixtures and ceiling fans: Dust and remove cobwebs to brighten the space.
Check and replace air filters: Ensure optimal air quality by replacing air filters in the HVAC system and air purifiers (if applicable).
Kitchen:
Appliances: Wipe down the exterior of the oven, stovetop, microwave, and refrigerator. Note: Deep cleaning of the oven and refrigerator may be a separate service.
Sink: Clean the sink and faucet, removing any mineral deposits or grime.
Floors: Sweep, mop, or vacuum the floor according to the type of flooring.
Bathroom:
Sanitize all surfaces: This includes toilets, sinks, bathtubs/showers, countertops, and floors.
Mirrors: Wipe down mirrors to remove any streaks or dust.
Exhaust fan: Dust and clean the exhaust fan to ensure proper ventilation.
Bedrooms and Living Areas:
Dust all surfaces: Including furniture, shelves, blinds, and baseboards.
Vacuum carpets and rugs: Pay close attention to corners and high-traffic areas.
Wash windows: Clean the glass, frames, and sills for a clear view (unless otherwise specified in the lease agreement).
Wipe down doorknobs and light switch covers.
Move-Out Cleaning
General:
Follow the terms of your lease agreement: Some leases may require a professional cleaning, so be sure to confirm expectations.
Work from top to bottom: This helps prevent dust and debris from settling on already cleaned surfaces.
Empty the home: Remove all belongings, including furniture and trash, before cleaning.
Kitchen:
Clean appliances (including basic oven cleaning): Wipe down the interior and exterior of appliances. For ovens, remove loose crumbs and grime. Note: Deep oven cleaning may be a separate service.
Clean cabinets and drawers: Remove all contents and wipe down shelves and drawers.
Clean sink and faucet: Scrub the sink and faucet to remove any mineral deposits or grime.
Clean backsplash: Wipe down the backsplash to remove grease splatters or food residue.
Sweep and mop floors: Ensure the floor is free of debris and sticky substances.
Bathroom:
Sanitize all surfaces: This includes toilets, sinks, bathtubs/showers, countertops, mirrors, and floors.
Clean shower doors: Remove soap scum and hard water stains.
Empty and clean trash cans.
Bedrooms and Living Areas:
Dust all surfaces: Including furniture, shelves, blinds, and baseboards.
Vacuum carpets and rugs thoroughly.
Wash windows (unless otherwise specified in the lease agreement).
Clean ceiling fans: Remove dust from the blades and surrounding areas.
Wipe down doorknobs and light switch covers.

Deep cleaning services: Deep cleaning services for ovens, refrigerators, carpets, and upholstery may be offered at an additional cost.
